(4x+2)(3x-7) solve for x can anyone help me out

x = - [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex] or x = [tex]\frac{7}{3}[/tex]

to solve for x equate the product of factors to zero

(4x + 2)(3x - 7) = 0

equate each factor to zero and solve for x

4x + 2 = 0 , hence 4x = - 2 , hence x = - [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex]

3x - 7 = 0, hence 3x = 7, hence x = [tex]\frac{7}{3}[/tex]
