2x+3y=6        Given
3y=-2x+6       Subtraction property of equality
y=(-2/3)x+2    Division property of equality

y=(-2/3)x+2

slope intercept is just solve for y

2x+3y=6
minus 2x both sides
3y=-2x+6
divide both sides by 3
y=-2/3x+2
