the sequence shown below that starts with n = 1

[tex]1,4,9,16,25,\ldots[/tex]

The rule of the sequence will be as follows"

The first term = 1, when n = 1

The second term = 4 = 2², when n = 2

The third term = 9 = 3², when n = 3

..

..

So, the rule will be:

[tex]a_n=n^2[/tex]
