What is the slope of the line that passes through (1,0) and is parallel to y=3x+5?

Since it's parallel to y=3x+5, that means they have the same slope that is 3

To find the function , let's apply the formula:


y-y1 = m(x-x1). Plug  ===> y-0 = 3(x-1)===> y=3x-3
